E-rate will pay for your Gaggle subscription

Gaggle SPIN: 143-024-051

E-rate will now pay for up to 90% of the cost of Gaggle without advertising, but you must submit the proper paper work and meet the necessary deadlines.

If you submitted a Form 470, then you need to complete your Form 471 before time runs out.

If your school did not submit a Form 470, then unfortunately you will have to wait until next Fall to apply.

Give us a call at 800-288-7750, and we will be glad to help you with your Form 471 application.

Form 471 Application Instructions

The Form 471 must be filed by Thursday, February 12th 2009

Make sure your 28 day waiting period has expired before submitting your Form 471.

In order to meet the deadline we recommend that you file using the online application:

http://www.sl.universalservice.org/apply/ - Choose Apply Online from the right side of the page under the "How to Apply" box.

Be sure to file your Priority One items on separate applications from your Priority Two items. Filing them together can delay the approval process. For example, do not mix your email request with requests for internal connections.

1. Obtain the pricing information for the number of Gaggle accounts you need.

You may use the pricing information posted on the Gaggle web site or contact us for a price quote that matches your situation.

When selecting an email provider you do not have to choose the lowest priced bid. Price does need to be the largest determining factor, but it may constitute as little as 30% of the decision. Other determining factors can be:
     - Prior Experience
     - Required Features
     - Reputation
     - Management Experience

If you would like to get a written proposal for the Gaggle service, please contact Sales@Gaggle.net or call (800) 288-7750.

2. Make sure that you have a User ID and PIN.

Remember that the person authorized to sign Form 471 must have successfully completed the PIN Request Process and received a User ID and PIN before they can electronically certify Form 471. Click here for more information on how to request a PIN.
